Vastu Shastra And Other

Vastu Shastra deals with all types of premises used by human beings. It is based on five elements earth, water, sky, fire and air. It affects rich and poor alike without any discrimination. Vastu Shastra is a very ancient science. There are many proofs of following Vastu Shastra in the age of Mahabharata. In that age Asura named Maye, who was an expert in Shilp Shastra wrote Mayamatam, an extraordinary book on Vastu Shastra.

Vishwakarma built the golden Dwarka in Dwapar Yuga. Now it is in the sea, known as Bet Dwarka. In Treta Yuga lord Rama also promoted Vastu Shastra in several ways. The help of Vastu Shastra was taken to build the famous Rameshwaram Jyotirling temple. In that period Ravana built his golden Lanka following Vastu Shastra .

Vastu Shastra is not only for high rise buildings and costly bungalows but it is also helpful in constructing small huts. In general, people think that the direction of the main door, kitchen position, bed room, and etc if it is in the proper direction then that Vastu is good. But in real sense these are just very basics of Vastu shastra. Even though all the directions may be correct but the premises may have strong negativity. There could be several reasons like defect in the land either in shape, surroundings or defect under the earth. So, it is always advisable to take the help of knowledgeable person before purchasing the land or any premises either for dwelling or commercial uses.

It is more appreciable if Vastu Shastra is taken into consideration even for the construction of government offices and different establishments. There are some errors which are not easy to correct but most of the time one can have solutions to increase the positive energy of the premises (Vastu).

The Himalaya is standing high to protect our country borders but it is in the north direction opposite the rules of Vastu Shastra. The south direction is supposed to be heaviest and the highest but it is our bad luck that again this is against the basic rule of the Vastu. If we look back in the history we can find lot of problems and miseries faced by India that still exists.

Why following of Vastu Shastra is important in this era:

In olden days people use to follow the general rules of Vastu Shastra because they were traditional. If you see the old houses in the villages then you can see that there was no toilet near the kitchen and even in the main building. A happy home can contribute in a major way to society, to the country and to the world. A broken home adversely affects the peace and happiness of society. Let us make every home a happy home by following basic rules laid out by our ancient gurus. By following the rules of Vastu Shastra many loss and problems can be avoided.
